This clean eating banana bread recipe is perfect for breakfast, as a snack or for dessert. Eat it as is or add some pecans or dairy-free chocolate chips for variety!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×5 glass pan.
in a medium mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt
In a large bowl, mix the butter alternative, maple syrup, honey, flax & water mixture and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Mix in the mashed bananas
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix or the bread will be dry.
Pour the batter in to the greased pan and bake for 55 minutes or until set.
Let cool at least 1 hour or overnight.
