pomegranate mocktail

Packed with the goodness of raspberries and pomegranates, this mocktail is not only tasty but also nutritious. It is a delightful blend of tart and sweet, and its pink color makes it perfect for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day or Sunday brunch. It’s also a relaxing way to wind down before bed.

Why You Need To Try This Raspberry Pomegranate Drink

  • Rich in antioxidants: Pomegranate juice is packed with antioxidants, which help protect your body against damage from free radicals.
  • Alcohol Alternative: Even if you aren’t drinking alcohol, it’s fun to have a drink in your hand as you wind down after work. A good mocktail in a highball glass with plenty of ice can help you relax by adding a touch of class and elegance to your evening!
  • Kid-friendly: This mocktail is a great alternative to sugary sodas for kids. There are only 4 grams of sugar in Poppi due to the cane sugar – but that is a lot less than the cup of sugar in soda! Honestly, I avoid giving my kids Stevia, which is in Poppi, but in this recipe, we only use 2 ounces of the drink per glass, so I feel it is minimal enough. If you want to avoid it altogether, replace the Poppi with club soda.
  • Refreshing and hydrating: With its combination of fruit flavors and sparkling water, this mocktail is a refreshing drink any time of the day. We enjoy it in the evening during winter but it’s an amazingly refreshing summer drink too!

Ingredients for this Special Drink!

  • Raspberry Rose Poppi – One can will make about 3 drinks. Poppi is going to be near the seltzer water or flavored waters – If you have trouble finding Poppi in the grocery store, a delicious alternative would be seltzer water with muddled fresh raspberries.
  • POM Pomegranate Juice
  • Fresh Lemon Juice – Fresh lime juice would work too
  • Lots of Ice
  • Optional: Garnishes like a sprig of mint leaves, lemon or orange slices, pomegranate seeds or fresh berries

That’s all you’ll need! Non-Alcoholic cocktails should be fast and easy and this one does not disappoint!

Important Tips:

  • If the drink is too sweet, add a splash of soda water to water it down slightly. If you do add soda water, prepare the drink in a tall glasses because you’ll need the extra room.
  • For a party, this drink could be made in a large punch bowl. It would also make a delicious ice cream float (but don’t tell my kids!)
  • If you want to make an alcoholic version of this drink, Vodka or white rum would match best while retaining the drinks gorgeous color!

Frequently Asked Questions About Raspberry Pomegranate Mocktails

What pairs well with pomegranate juice?

Pomegranate juice pairs well will almost any other juice. Grape juice and citrus juice pair best with pomegranate juice. You could also just add some sparking water for a delicious drink.

Can this drink be made ahead of time?

Because of the carbonation in the Poppi, this drink should not be made ahead of time or the carbonation will dissipate and the drink will be flat. If you are going to be adding additional bubbly water or champagne right before serving, you’ll have more success making it ahead of time.

What is a sparkling mocktail?

It is a non alcoholic drink made with soda water or another carbonated beverage.
